53,000 people have died in Brazil, 43,000 in the United Kingdom, and about 15,000 in India due to the coronavirus, while 17,000 people in India have been diagnosed with the virus in a single day.
More than 9.6 million people worldwide have fallen ill and more than 5.2 million patients have recovered so far.
